盖秋凯,男,汉族,中共党员,四川成都人,1996年8月生,硕博毕业于中国矿业大学(北京),澳大利亚科廷大学联合培养博士,现为中国矿业大学(北京)能源与矿业学院讲师,目前担任Journal of Geomechanics and MeasurementsBulletin of Environmental Engineering & Technology期刊青年编委、《应用力学学报》学术委员会委员International Journal of Mining Science and TechnologyRock Mechanics and Rock Engineering以及《材料导报》国内外高水平期刊审稿人。

主要从事切顶卸压无煤柱沿空留巷、矿井水害治理以及巷道围岩控制等方向研究。作为负责人主持中国科协青年人才托举工程博士生专项计划(首届),主参国家自然科学基金重大专项、国家矿山安全监察局重点科技攻关项目以及中科院战略咨询项目4项,作为现场技术负责人完成内蒙古自治区以及煤矿企业等委托项目5项。以第一/通讯作者在岩石力学与工程学报、煤炭学报、Engineering GeologyRock Mechanics and Rock EngineeringTunnelling and Underground Space Technology等高水平期刊发表SCI/EI论文18篇,授权国家发明专利4项,入选国家建设高水平大学公派研究生项目、获岩石力学与工程学会科技进步一等奖、中国煤炭工业协会科学技术二等奖博士研究生国家奖学金等荣誉。


Short Biosketch of Dr. Qiukai Gai

Dr. Qiukai Gai, male, born in August 1996 in Chengdu, China, earned his master’s and doctoral degrees from the China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). He has also conducted research in fracture mechanics as a jointly trained doctoral student at Curtin University in Australia. Currently, he serves as a lecturer at the School of Energy and Mining Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing).

Dr. Gai’s research focuses on gob-side entry retaining by roof cutting and pressure relief without coal pillars, mine water hazard control, and roadway surrounding rock control. As project leader, he has led the doctoral program under the Young Elite Scientist Sponsorship Program of the China Association for Science and Technology. He has participated in four major projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation’s Major Program, key science and technology projects of the National Mine Safety Administration. As the on-site technical lead, he has completed five projects commissioned by enterprises in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and coal mining companies. He has published 18 SCI/EI-indexed papers as the first or corresponding author in prestigious journals such as Engineering Geology, Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering, and Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology. Currently, he also serves as a youth editorial board member for the Journal of Geomechanics and Measurements and the Bulletin of Environmental Engineering & Technology, and as the reviewer for journals such as International Journal of Mining Science and Technology.
